1. Pressure Rating
Follow ASME B16.34, common class 150~2500. Class 800 is an intermediate level, dedicated to instrument root valves and pressure pipe connection valves.
2. Valve Body Structure
Fully Welded Valve Body: used for buried pipelines, resistant to geological disasters (such as earthquakes, landslides), life of up to 30 years.
Split Valve Body: easy to maintain, bolted connection, but need to prevent pipeline stress from causing seal failure
3. End Connection
Type |
Application |
Limited |
BW |
High temperature and high pressure, highly toxic media (such as hydrogen sulfide working conditions) |
High cost, professional welding required |
SW |
DN≤40 instrument valve |
Crevice corrosion media prohibited |
NPT |
Low pressure non-hazardous substances |
DN≤20, seal welding is required to prevent leakage |
RF/FF |
Easy to disassemble and assemble, Class150/300 commonly used RF |
FF is only used for cast iron valves |
