(1) The general diameter is covered to twice its specification, 6NPS can be covered to 6-12NPS diameter, 100DN can be covered to 100-200DN;

(2) For the pressure rating is also specified to cover the range, 25PN can be covered to 25-40PN;

(3) If there are more than one valve models need to be tested, let the engineer assess the need for several test reports.

Test Requirements

When testing valves, care shall be taken to protect them, but valves made of non-insulated materials are prohibited.

Before testing the valves, attention should be paid to the distinction between the type and installation direction, for unidirectional installation of the valve, it is required to be tested in the specified installation direction;
