Introduction to API Globe Valve

Standard:

API globe valve is designed with reference to ASME B16.34 standard; the connection between valve body and bonnet is designed in accordance with API 600; the structure length is in accordance with ASME B16.10; the flange connection size is in accordance with ANSI/ASME B16.5A, and the inspection and test of the valve are strictly carried out in accordance with API 598.

Advantages:

Good sealing performance: the use of Cr13 steel carbide seals can effectively prevent media leakage, to meet the sealing requirements of various working conditions.

Small flow resistance: part of API globe valve adopts direct-flow or angular structure, so that the fluid almost does not change the direction of flow, flow resistance is small, the pressure loss through the valve is relatively small, suitable for pipelines with coking and solid particles.
