Classification by structure type
Floating ball valve: the ball can float freely under the action of medium pressure, can automatically adjust the position to ensure sealing. Simple structure, good sealing, but the ball to withstand the media load is all transferred to the outlet seal, generally used for low-pressure ball valves.
Fixed ball ball valve: the ball is fixed, under pressure does not produce movement, with a floating seat, by the media pressure after the seat moves to make the seal ring tightly pressed on the ball to ensure sealing. Usually equipped with bearings on the upper and lower shafts of the ball, small operating torque, suitable for high pressure and large diameter valves.
V-ball valve: fixed structure, the ball core has a V-shaped incision, can realize proportional adjustment, flow characteristics for the approximate equal percentage. Its V-shaped cut and metal valve seat has a shear effect, suitable for containing fibers, small solid particles, slurry and other media, also used to distribute media and change the direction of flow of media.
Three-way ball valve: there are T-type and L-type. T-type can make three orthogonal pipelines connected to each other and cut off the third channel, shunt, merging role; L-type can only connect two mutually orthogonal pipelines, can not keep the third pipeline at the same time connected to each other, and only play a role in distribution.
